Operation Smile-Providing the Gift of a Smile

Did you know that every 3 minutes a child is born with a cleft lip or cleft palate? A cleft makes it extremely difficult for a child to eat often leading to malnutrition and even death. These children are often shunned and ignored by society and left without hope.

Operation Smile is a charity organization for children – donate non profit

Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that heals children's smiles, forever changing their lives.  Since 1982, Operation Smile, through the help of dedicated medical volunteers-has provided more than 2 million patient evaluations and over 200,000 free surgeries for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities.

Campusbookrentals.com has teamed up with Operation Smile and has committed to donating enough to cover a minimum of 1,000 life changing surgeries. If you or someone you know needs textbooks for college choose to rent them from Campusbookrentals.com. They have been renting textbooks since 2007, and have served thousands of customers on over 5,000 college campuses.

Campusbookrentals.com will donate a portion of the proceeds of every book rented to Operation Smile. When you rent you will be helping to significantly improve the lives of children born with facial deformities all over the world.

  2. I will check into the book rental thing. It is nice to know that they will help 1,000 children with surgeries through Operation Smile. I would rather give my business to companies like that. Thanks for sharing the info.
